For this hair mask, you need one cup of amla powder or a few drops of amla oil, three tablespoons of henna powder, two tablespoons of fenugreek powder, one lemon and one egg white. 

First, you need to make a good paste of henna, amla and fenugreek powder. You can include a little water in the mixture. Then add one egg white and lemon to the mixture. Leave the mixture aside for an hour, and then apply it to your hair. Start from the roots and work your way through the lengths of your hair. 

Let the hair mask rest for forty-five minutes to an hour before rinsing it off using cool water and a mild shampoo. 

2. Amla, Reetha & Shikakai Hair Mask

The mix of three potent herbs, Shikakai, Reetha and Amla, can work wonders for your hair. It prevents dandruff and stimulates hair growth. The ingredients are rich in flavonoids and antioxidants. Amla is known to keep your scalp safe from itching and reduce radical damage to make sure your scalp does not lose color. Reetha is also a powerful anti-inflammatory ingredient for getting rid of scalp irritation. 

For this hair mask, you need two tablespoons of amla juice, one tablespoon of reetha powder, two tablespoons of shikakai powder and two tablespoons of rosewater. You need to get a bowl and mix all the ingredients to form a paste. Then apply it to your scalp and hair and wait for thirty minutes. Finally, rinse it off with water. 

3. Raw Honey & Coconut oil Hair Mask

Coconut oil and honey are known to be magic ingredients to repair damaged and dry hair. Coconut hair oil keeps hair moisturized, soft and prevents hair breakage. It is loaded with fatty acids that penetrate deeper than other conditioners. Honey helps in retaining moisture, smoothening and softening hair. Honey also makes hair shinier. 

You need one tablespoon of coconut oil and honey for this hair mask. Mix the ingredients in a bowl and heat it till the mixture is melted. Then apply the mix from the root of your hair to the lengths. Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave the mix for at least twenty minutes. Finally, rinse your hair with lukewarm water. 

4. Coconut Oil, Sugar & Essential oils

If you see flakes on your scalp, it might be the result of scalp irritation. Your scalp needs a good exfoliation so that it is not flaky anymore. The combination of essential oils, sugar and coconut oil is the best exfoliating hair treatment that reduces and removes flakes. 

As you already know, coconut oil is rich in fatty acids, and it is anti-inflammatory. The other ingredients used in this hair mask are rich in anti-fungal properties, and therefore, the hair mask is one of the best options to treat fungal scalp tissues. 

To create this hair mask, you need two tablespoons of coconut oil, four tablespoons of raw sugar, five drops of peppermint oil and two drops of tea tree oil. You need to mix all the ingredients in a bowl and then use your fingertips or a hairbrush to apply the mixture to your damp and clean scalp in the shower. Unlike the other hair masks, this one must be applied after you have cleaned your scalp. 

Ensure to spread the mixture evenly and massage it for about one to three minutes. After that, tie your hair and let it sit for ten minutes. Finally, rinse off the mixture with water. 

5. Bhringraj & Neem Hair Mask 

Bhringraj is an important ingredient in Ayurvedic hair oil, and it is known for its cooling properties. When applied, it helps to cool the scalp and prevent premature greying and hair loss. Even applying neem oil helps in treating premature greying of hair. Moreover, neem oil has antibacterial properties that prevent fungal infections on the scalp and hair. 

For this hair mask, you need Bhringraj and neem leaves and water. You need to use water to make a thick paste of these leaves and then apply it to your scalp. Leave the paste for about two hours and wash it off with a mild shampoo. For best results, apply this paste once a week.
